Festival DanseRom brings together dance projects within contemporary dance. DanseRom gives the audience a variety of dance experiences with two missions: an event for dance artists, and for the audience. DanseRom is initiated by danceartist Roskva Yasmin Andersen, and aims to create more opportunities, and bring contemporary dance to a bigger audience. This year I updated the website, posters, flyer and content for social media. The website was firstly designed in 2022 to showcase the project DanseRom, and updated with new projects for each year.
This year's festival consisted of BarneRom, UteRom and KveldsRom. In addition to being an event for dance artists, it is primarily an event for the public. Here, there is space provided to experience a diversity of expressions of different dance performances.
Dance is movement in body and mind, and an experience between performer and audience. It is a space where you can share associations and interpretations. Festival DanseRom is about shaping communities, working with employment, increasing stage activity and driving audience development.
